Merike Estna’s new artist book, Merike Estna. The House of Leaking Sky. Preenactment has been published.
The publication was created to accompany the Estonian pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale, The House of Leaking Sky. Conceptually, it serves as a preenactment to the exhibition. The book covers Estna’s exhibition at the Biennale while also offering insight into the painter’s artistic practice in recent years. The book contains rich visual material, including Estna’s own paintings and photographs by various contributors, such as newly commissioned series by Marta Vaarik and Ana Hop. Texts are written by Estelle Hoy, Natalia Sielewicz, Keiu Krikmann and Maria Arusoo. Published in English, the book has been published by the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art in collaboration with Mousse Publishing.
Merike Estna. The House of Leaking Sky. Preenactment is available through the CCA’s web store, at the Estonian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale and in selected bookstores.
