“Artists of Estonia” is a three-volume book series introducing contemporary artists of Estonia. These books provide a multifaceted overview of the most prominent artists of the Estonian art scene at the turn of the century, with texts discussing developments in Estonian professional art within the last 30 years.

“Artists of Estonia 2” highlights 25 artists: Peeter Allik, Jaak Arro, Mati Karmin, Eve Kask, Rein Kelpman, Mari Kurismaa, Malle Leis, Ly Lestberg, Ado Lill, Mare Mikoff, Marko Mäetamm, Mall Nukke, Kaido Ole, Jüri Palm, Peeter Pere, Anu Põder, Enn Põldroos, Tiit Pääsuke, Raul Rajangu, Liina Siib, Andres Tali, Peeter Ulas, Linnar Viik, Valeri Vinogradov, Toomas Vint.

The selection of artists is based on documentation of artworks compiled by the art centre over the years. The aim of the book is to help to create an overview of post war developments in Estonian art; above all, the publication is relevant to studying this period in particular and presenting our contemporary artists internationally. The book concludes with professional bios of all the artists included in the book.

Texts in the abundantly illustrated publication are written by Johannes Saar, Ants Juske, Boris Bernstein, Raoul Kurvitz, Reet Varblane, Vappu Vabar, Harry Liivrand, Mari Laanemets, Sirje Helme.

The previous volume in the series was published in 1998 and the following in 2000.
